As part of PRODETUR, the government of Brazil's tourism development program, Brazilian infrastructure is making great strides, new bridges and roads are being built, an increasing number of flights are being added, and tourism is booming as a result. Immense demand for high standard resorts from tour operators has pressured developers, tightened market supply and forced rack rates and property values skyward. Prices and rentals are certain to continue to soar over the coming decade.

Even outside of tourism, Brazil's economy is thriving. (mobile phone, aircraft and car manufacturing industries to name a few) and as a part/member of the BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India, China) countries, it is foreseen that Brazil will be one of the up-and-coming global economic power-houses.

$1.8 billion is being spent by the Brazilian Government on infrastructure to support the expected tourism.

Tourism is rocketing, figures show that the numbers of visitors have quadrupled over the past 5 years.

The factors that are attributed to the capital appreciation is due to the cheap land, construction prices and the increased tourism.

Natal is a city that is expected to flourish. Natal is located in Rio do Grande Norte, which, as described earlier, is a rapidly emerging hot spot for tourism in the near future. Natal, being closer to Europe and America, is very appealing as a real estate investment and a holiday spot as compared to other Brazilian cities and regions. The area have abundant supply of number of food items, restaurants, culture and flights and they are quite cheap too.

Natal has large sandy beaches and temperatures that soar into the 100s, with the nearby development of the future fourth largest airport in the world, also being planned and the government's aim to bring in nearly 6 million tourists a year, it's easy to see why the airlines are riding the bandwagon and offering package holidays and direct flights to this hotspot.

It's much cheaper in Natal, with it being nearly 3 times more expensive in the South!

The location of Natal is nearer and a great choice to holiday makers from the US and Europe.

Natal is famous for coconut palm trees that are visible throughout the city and that adorn the coast, along with blue waters and soft sea breezes.

Less than 30 minutes of journey time is expected because of the bridge that has now been constructed that connects Natal City and the beach resorts to the north.
